{Tips} Holiday Photos

With the Holiday Season upon us, cameras are out in full force to capture all the wonder and magic of children at Christmas.  To unsure you get the most out of your holiday images here are a few tips:

1. Charge your Batteries!

The worst thing is when you go to take a photo and your battery is dead.  Be prepared and make sure your camera is charged and your SD Card is empty so you don't miss out on the excitement.

2.  First Expressions

Stand by the tree when your kids come around the corner.  That first expression of excitement in seeing what Santa brought them is always the best one.

3. Keep on Clicking

Keep you finger ready and keep on clicking.  Getting 2 or three photos of the stages of your child opening a present and finding out what's inside tells a story and is more special than just a snapshot.  Getting on the floor with them while you do this adds a great perspective!

4. Start the Night Before

Take photos of the tree, special ornaments, Santa's cookies and milk, your children sleeping, the stockings on the mantle...the little details adds to your story.

The Last an MOST Important Tip

5. Put Down your Camera!

Once you have a few photos, put down your camera and enjoy the moment with you family.

Happy Holidays!
