Lifestyle Session - A great alternative when the weather isn't your friend!

What is a Lifestyle Session?

It's your life.

Your real and beautiful life.

Best friends they tell all their secrets too...

Super Heros with blanket fortresses, hosting tea parties with princesses, making their favorite cookies (Smartie - but only the red ones), jumping on the bed, reading a favorite book....over and over again...

and giggles...lots and lots of giggles.

;

It documents your life, raw, chaotic, unscripted, unrehearsed, temper tantrum filled, never dull life.

You may think that these moments are not that important, you live them everyday.

It may be true now...

but when they become memories lost - trust me they are.

They are the ones you want to remember forever.

"We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone. We take photos to recall - with greater vibrancy - those experiences that have shaped and made us. We take photos to bridge distance and shorten time, to lend legacy to the little things and life to the forgotten.

And we take photos to feel like artists on a Tuesday – and storytellers on a Sunday."

Book your Lifestyle Session and receive a special gift if you are one of the first three Sessions in January, February or March.

{Tips} Holiday Photos

With the Holiday Season upon us, cameras are out in full force to capture all the wonder and magic of children at Christmas.  To unsure you get the most out of your holiday images here are a few tips:

1. Charge your Batteries!

The worst thing is when you go to take a photo and your battery is dead.  Be prepared and make sure your camera is charged and your SD Card is empty so you don't miss out on the excitement.

2.  First Expressions

Stand by the tree when your kids come around the corner.  That first expression of excitement in seeing what Santa brought them is always the best one.

3. Keep on Clicking

Keep you finger ready and keep on clicking.  Getting 2 or three photos of the stages of your child opening a present and finding out what's inside tells a story and is more special than just a snapshot.  Getting on the floor with them while you do this adds a great perspective!

4. Start the Night Before

Take photos of the tree, special ornaments, Santa's cookies and milk, your children sleeping, the stockings on the mantle...the little details adds to your story.

The Last an MOST Important Tip

5. Put Down your Camera!

Once you have a few photos, put down your camera and enjoy the moment with you family.

Happy Holidays!
