{One Year Session} Little Addyson turns one!

Little Addyson is my first One Year Collection graduate.

How does time manage to steal away our years so successfully?

Could it really be 365 days since she was still a part of you, unseen and untouched by the world?

To some a year seems like such a long time...

but to a Mommy it isn't.

There will never be enough time in the world for your child to stay little.

Never be too many patty cakes, or blowed kisses.  Cuddles in the night or little fingers wrapped around yours.

Ah!  Where does the time go!  I met this little one when she was only a few days old and now look.

She is such a beautiful little person.

Happy Birthday to you little one.

The Motherhood Collective - February

Now you've probably heard about my Existing in Photos for your Children campaign.

(unless you're new here, the you can check it out HERE - and welcome!)

It is something that I am very close to and talk to you about often.

Next month will mark it's one year anniversary and it's time that I start being more involved with #justexist - ing.

I happen to be part of a wonder group of ladies that feel absolutely the same about existing and have committed to photographing ourselves with our children each month for one year...we are

The Motherhood Collective.

Follow our blog circle each month by clicking on the next member linked at the bottom of the page, and keep clicking until you're back here to make sure you complete the circle.

There is so much talent in this group - I hope it inspires you to do the same.

These will be images that are going to make me reach out of my comfort zone and push myself as an artist... but this is going to be a project that brings me joy.

Pure joy.

Beat the Boredom Blues

Here in the great white north the kids have a week off from school. When those boredom blues come knocking, Pinterest is your friend! Here is 5 fun things to keep them busy and beat the dreaded boredom blues!

1. Make a Tent - A few pieces of wood and hours of fun! (We just finished one this past weekend. It was simple, easy and the littlest critic loves it!)

2. 2 Step Playdough - Super easy and who doesn't like playdough!

3. Super Simple Princess Canopy - A hoop and sheer curtains, your princess will love it!

4. Bottle Bird Feeder - Wooden spoons and a pop bottle, easy peasy. Those little birdies have to be hungry. ( I don't know how they don't freeze!)

5. Make Some Tunes - Reuse, Recycle, Rock out! Cereal box guitars.
